I am Prof. Dr. Aylin Kılıç, an ophthalmologist, ophthalmic surgeon and educator. My work in cornea and refractive surgery has been shaped by keratoconus, CAIRS, tissue-based approaches and collagen applications in both keratoconus and presbyopia. The goal is never innovation for its own sake; it is to ask whether we can make treatment more precise, more biological and more personal.
Surgery, science, teaching, travel, art, movement, family and Max… Different parts of the same life. Each one keeps me curious, grounded and open to learning.
Some relationships quietly become part of who we are. Max brings warmth to the busiest days, joy to the simplest ones, and a perspective that needs no words.
